Got two of these as well as the doorbell and have to say I am very impressed! Clear footage, great angle which shows me the whole garden.
I installed this myself, which would have been straightforward if it hadn’t been so fiddly to get the case back on. Pack doesn’t include everything you need as there is no power cable (I took mine from an old vacuum). Drilling through the wall whilst up a ladder was not fun. Adding the device into my existing Ring setup was straightforward and once installed it’s working very well.

As Isaiah Watkins, I have used the Ring Floodlight Cam for a few months now, and I have to say, I’m not impressed. While it boasts 802.11b features, allowing for easy connectivity to wifi networks, that’s about where the positives end for me. The 1920×1080 product name may sound impressive, but the actual footage quality leaves a lot to be desired.
Compared to other known surveillance cameras on the market, I feel like the Ring Floodlight Cam falls short. The motion detection is finicky, often triggering false alarms, and the app can be slow and unresponsive. The night vision is decent, but still not as clear as some other cameras. The floodlights are a nice touch, but they can be triggered by small animals or passing cars, which is a nuisance.
