This morning, it was announced that Apple has agreed to pay $100 million to settle the class action lawsuit brought by the widow of a former Apple supplier, whose iPhone died when he was struck by a train on the job.
The settlement allows Apple to buy back and repair all defective Apple products and to sell defective products to those who bought them, as well as make other payments such as repaying a fine imposed by the judge.
It will also allow Apple to offer a warranty on replacement and replacement parts. Apple’s settlement comes one month to the day after the company admitted to manufacturing defects in the iPhone that led to a fatal crash in which a young man died. As Apple’s share of the U.S. smartphone market tumbled, the settlement will cover all customer demands.

The video, the same as the photos, can be watched calmly. The software with the M11 overlay is acceptable. The downside for me is that you cannot separately set the notification volume (let alone individual notifications) and the phone ringer volume. I also miss a selectable alphabet list in the contacts on the right or left. Riding the elevator from top to bottom, while fast, is annoying.
