Great TV, I recommend it! after switching from 10-year-old Samsung, the image quality is knocking down, the blackness and depth of colors. It is best seen when watching Netflix, the picture quality with ordinary HD from the set-top box is also very good, movies with subtitles are also ok, there is no glow from the subtitles. The sound quality is quite enough for us, especially in surround mode, watching cinema or sports is pure pleasure.

Magic remote is a revelation, but at the beginning there were some problems to synchronize it with the UPC decoder, voice commands for switching programs do not work if the signal goes from the decoder and not through the cable directly from the TV. Once a week you can turn on pixel refresh as the tv is turned off if someone is worried about OLED burnout

I live in Orlando and I work as a car mechanic. Last summer, I decided to upgrade my old TV, so I went online and bought the Panasonic TX-43GX550B. I must say that I was quite disappointed with my purchase.

First of all, let me tell you that this TV does not have 3D capabilities. I know that 3D is not very popular these days, but I was hoping to watch some of my favorite movies in 3D. Unfortunately, that’s not possible with this TV.

On the other hand, this TV is a Smart TV, which means that you can stream movies and TV shows directly from the internet. However, I found the interface to be quite slow and clunky. At times, it took forever to load a TV show or a movie, and I had to restart the TV to get it to work properly.

When it comes to picture quality, I would say that this TV is average at best. It’s not as good as some of the high-end TVs that I have seen, but it’s not terrible either. The colors are okay, and the brightness is decent, but the contrast could be better.

In comparison to other TVs in its price range, I would say that the Panasonic TX-43GX550B is not worth the money. There are other TVs that offer better features and picture quality for the same or even lower price.

Lastly, delivery of the TV was smooth and hassle-free. The TV arrived in Orlando within a few days, and the delivery was made right to my doorstep.

In conclusion, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly TV with Smart capabilities, the Panasonic TX-43GX550B might be worth considering. However, if picture quality is your top priority, there are better options out there.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I connect my smartphone to the Panasonic TX-43GX550B for screen mirroring?

To connect your smartphone to the Panasonic TX-43GX550B TV for screen mirroring, follow these steps:

1. Make sure both your smartphone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

2. On your smartphone, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick Settings menu.

3. Locate and tap on the "Cast" or "Screen Cast" option (the icon looks like a screen with a wireless signal). If you can't find it, go to your device's settings (usually represented by a gear icon), then look for an option named "Connected devices" or "Smart TV".

4. Your smartphone will search for available devices to cast to. Select the Panasonic TX-43GX550B from the list of discovered devices.

5. If prompted, enter the PIN code displayed on your TV screen using your smartphone's keyboard. This ensures that only authorized devices can connect and mirror their screens.

6. Once connected, your smartphone's screen will appear on the TV. You can now use your smartphone to control what is displayed on the TV.

7. To disconnect, simply swipe down from the top of your smartphone's screen again, locate the "Cast" or "Screen Cast" icon, and tap on it. Then, select "Disconnect" or "Stop casting".

How do I connect my laptop to the TV using HDMI for screen mirroring?

Check that your TV has an HDMI input port. Most modern TVs have at least one or two HDMI ports, which should be labeled as "HDMI 1," "HDMI 2," etc. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to your laptop's HDMI output port (usually located on the side or back of the machine) and the other end to an open HDMI input port on the TV. Turn on your TV and select the appropriate HDMI input source using your TV's remote control. The exact process for selecting the input source will vary by brand and model, but it should be labeled as "HDMI [number]" or have a small HDMI logo next to it. If prompted, press the Windows key + P on your laptop keyboard to open the Display Settings menu. Alternatively, you can right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings" from the context menu. In the Display Settings menu, select "Duplicate" or "Extend" depending on what you want to do. If you choose "Duplicate," your laptop's display will be mirrored on the TV. If you choose "Extend," your laptop's display and the TV's display will both show whatever is displayed on your laptop, effectively creating a larger desktop area. Adjust the display settings as needed to suit your preferences. For example, you may want to adjust the resolution or scaling to ensure that everything fits properly on the TV screen. Close the Display Settings menu and enjoy your larger, more immersive display! Note that some content, such as video from websites or apps, may require additional configuration or settings changes in order to play properly on the larger screen.
