1 review for Nevir NVR-7412-16HD-B

  1. Giovanni

I recently purchased the Nevir NVR-7412-16HD-B TV in February and I have mixed feelings about it. Although it has its pros, I have found some drawbacks that make me rate it 3 out of 5 stars.

One of the features I love about this TV is its BMP Supported picture files. This means that I can easily view high quality images on the TV screen. However, I was disappointed to discover that it does not have Smart TV capabilities. This has limited my ability to enjoy entertainment options beyond just watching TV.

Compared to other well-known brands, the Nevir NVR-7412-16HD-B is definitely not at the top of the list. While it has some admirable features, it lacks the advanced technology that other brands offer.

Looking back, I also had some issues with the delivery process. While I was excited to receive the TV in Denver, the delivery process took longer than expected and was not very efficient.

Overall, I believe the Nevir NVR-7412-16HD-B is a decent TV but I would recommend weighing out the pros and cons before making a final decision.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the process for updating the firmware on my Nevir NVR-7412-16HD-B NVR system?

Updating the firmware on your Nevir NVR-7412-16HD-B NVR system is essential to ensure that your security system is always up to date with the latest features and security enhancements. Here are the steps you should follow:

1. Before you begin, make sure that your NVN recorder (NVR) is turned on and connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable or a Wi-Fi connection. If you're using a Wi-Fi connection, ensure that it's stable and has good signal strength.

2. Log in to your NVR using the provided remote control and enter the login screen by pressing the "OK" button on the remote. The default username is "admin," and the password is "123456."

3. Once you're logged in, navigate to the "Menu" option on the main screen using the arrow keys on your remote control.

4. Use the right arrow key to highlight "Settings" and press the "OK" button.

5. In the Settings menu, use the down arrow key to scroll down to the "System" submenu and press the "OK" button.

6. In the System submenu, use the down arrow key to navigate to the "Upgrade" option and press the "OK" button.

7. You will now see a message prompting you to choose between upgrading the firmware or restoring the default settings. Use the left arrow key to select "Upgrade Firmware" and press the "OK" button.

8. The system will then display a warning message, reminding you that the process may take some time and interrupt your live view. Press the "Yes" button on the remote control to confirm and proceed with the firmware upgrade.

9. Your NVR will now search for available updates online. If an update is found, it will begin downloading automatically. Wait patiently for the download process to complete.

10. Once the download is finished, the system will prompt you to start the firmware upgrade process. Press the "Yes" button on your remote control to begin.

11. The NVR will now restart and install the new firmware. This process may take a few minutes. Do not turn off the power or unplug any cables during this time, as it could cause damage to your device.
