Callen Garner –
I’m just starting to use it. It’s not noisy, but read TV while cleaning is difficult. It is better to plan his work during our absence.
My cats usually strongly afraid of an ordinary vacuum cleaner, with interest and no stress watched with roomme. Cleaning really very thoroughly, I dusted the house before delivery of the device and it turned out that it was still a lot of it. Instructions very readable and helpful.
Ryder Holloway –
I’m here to spill some tea on Callen Garner’s 3-star review of the iRobot Roomba 980. It seems like he thinks this little robot is just okay, but I’m about to roast his arguments and give you a more nuanced view.
Firstly, who needs to watch TV while cleaning when you can multitask like a pro? The noise level on the Roomba 980 is actually one of its best features – it’s so quiet, you’ll think you’re vacuuming with your eyes closed (which, let’s be real, would be pretty cool). But seriously, if you’re planning to use this thing while binge-watching your favorite show, you might as well get a Roomba that’s designed for TV-watching in mind – like the iRobot Roomba 960, which has a special Silent Mode (just kidding, it doesn’t exist).
Secondly, who needs their cats to not be stressed by a vacuum cleaner? My cat, Mr. Whiskers, is terrified of the Roomba too, but I just tell him it’s a robot uprising and he’s all like oh no, my human has abandoned me for a metal beast. But seriously, if your cats are still traumatized from their first encounter with an ordinary vacuum cleaner, maybe you should try desensitizing them to the sound of the Roomba – or just give them some treats while it’s doing its thing.
And finally, who needs thorough cleaning when you can have a robot that leaves behind a trail of dust bunnies? Just kidding, I’m actually impressed by Callen Garner’s dedication to testing the Roomba’s cleaning abilities. But seriously, the Roomba 980 is designed to pick up dirt and dust efficiently, so it’s not surprising that it found all that extra dust in the house.
Moving on to today’s news – which rural area will take the UK’s nuclear waste? Well, I think they should just put it in a big pile in the middle of London and let everyone enjoy the radiation-filled atmosphere. But seriously, finding a community willing to take nuclear waste is indeed tricky, so maybe they should consider using some of that fancy nuclear waste-destroying technology that we’ve been hearing about (just kidding, that doesn’t exist either).
In conclusion, Callen Garner’s review of the iRobot Roomba 980 just doesn’t cut it. The Roomba 980 is a solid choice for anyone looking to upgrade their cleaning game – and who needs TV-watching capabilities when you can have a robot that actually cleans your house?
