1 review for Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo 16GB

  1. Louie Quinn

Great quality, reliable speed, wonderful color, feel that we are holding decent equipment in our hands.

The first days or even weeks of switching from Android to IOS can be quite specific. A year after buying a Mac, I decided that I wanted to create an ecosystem (after having a bad experience with transferring files from Mac to Andoid … where the cable was out of the question and Airdroid jammed every time). I rate this ecosystem at 5+. I am relieved that everything works in the end (as it used to be with the Windows – Android option and even much better)

As for the phone – I subtract half a star for the poor screen resolution, I have a trained eye and the screen is really average, which is annoying for the price. However, paying 1.5k for OLED (with a phone with the same number of inches) is an exaggeration. I was hoping that I would be delighted, and there is no madness. However, I hope that it will be with me for another 5 years and it will work just as quickly with the same reliability that Android unfortunately never gave me.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I transfer files from my computer to my Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo using a USB cable?

Connect one end of the USB cable into your Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo's charging port and the other end into a free USB slot on your computer. Swipe down from the top of the screen to reveal the notification panel, then tap the USB options icon (looks like an upside-down U) that appears at the top of the display. Select "USB storage" from the menu to enable USB mass storage mode on your device. If you don't see this option, swipe left or right until it shows up. Your Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo will now appear as a removable drive on your computer. Locate it using Windows Explorer (for PCs) or Finder (for Macs). Browse through the folders and files on your device to locate the ones you want to transfer, then drag and drop them onto your computer's desktop or into a desired folder. Once you've finished transferring all of the desired files, safely eject your Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo from your computer by right-clicking on its icon in Windows Explorer (for PCs) or selecting "Eject" from the Finder menu (for Macs). Disconnect the USB cable from both devices, then go back to your Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo and select "USB settings" from the drop-down menu that appears at the top of the display when you connect a USB device. Choose "MTP (Media Transfer Protocol)" or "PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol)" depending on the type of files you want to transfer in the future. MTP is better for general file transfers, while PTP is recommended for moving images and videos between your devices. If you'd like to charge your Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo at the same time as transferring files, connect it to a USB power source using a separate cable (not the one you used for file transfer) and make sure that "USB settings" is set to "Charging only.

"How do I transfer photos from my computer to my Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo?"

Connect your Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo to your computer using a USB cable. On your computer, open the file explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac). Locate the external storage device of your phone by scrolling through the list of available drives. The external storage is labeled as "USB Drive" on Windows computers and "NO NAME" on Mac computers. Double-click on your phone's external storage to open it. Navigate to the location on your computer where your photos are saved. Select the photos you want to transfer by holding down the CTRL key (Windows) or Command key (Mac) while clicking on each photo. Once selected, press the copy button (Ctrl + C for Windows and Command + C for Mac). Return to your phone's external storage in the file explorer or Finder. Paste the photos by pressing the paste button (Ctrl + V for Windows and Command + V for Mac). Wait for the transfer process to complete. The time it takes will depend on the number of photos being transferred and the speed of your computer's USB connection. Once the transfer is finished, safely eject your phone from your computer by right-clicking on the external storage in Windows or using the "Eject" option in Finder on a Mac. Your photos should now be accessible on your Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo through the Gallery app.
