My first HTC, as after two years of use I’m switching to the newer HTC 10, I can with a clear conscience give an opinion on the M8.
What hurts the M8 is HTC. It’s funny that the manufacturer can mix such a problem in their phones, every now and then a problem with the camera (fault off geolocation), and the settings will reset themselves, all this is the fault of the software, unfortunately. I will try to list some pros and cons to make it transparent.
Pros:
– The sound is outstanding compared to 10’s
-Design, you can see that it was high-end in its time, not like a plastic 10, M8 still looks much better than newer models
-System (?), Well, despite 4 years, everything still works quite smoothly, if not for the battery below, I would not change it
– Headphones played outstandingly

I had this phone for 2 years. I bought it because I was looking for a phone that will keep the battery for a long time, and this one was rated quite well in the internet rankings. However, as it turned out, the article was subsidized because I have to load it every day. The second problem is the screen. The screen glass (front panel) itself began to protrude from the housing, initially the upper left corner and then the lower left. The consequence of this was that I hooked the left upper protruding corner and damaged the screen (the housing itself, the part near the speaker is undamaged, while the screen is cracked from the upper left corner :)).
So to sum up the biggest:
a) minuses:
– the screen does not stick inside the housing,
– low battery
b) pros:
– NFC
– housing, it sits nicely in your hand and it is nice to lift it off the table as it lies on your back

As someone who frequently drops their phone while on the go, the HTC One M8 has been a lifesaver for me. I purchased it in December and have been using it ever since. One of the standout features for me was the 2 GB RAM, which allows me to multitask without any lag or delay.
Compared to my previous phone, the Samsung Galaxy S5, the HTC One M8 16GB definitely comes out on top. The design is sleek and the sound quality is phenomenal thanks to the HTC BoomSound speakers. The camera is also a major improvement – I love being able to take clear photos even in low light situations.
I’ve also been a fan of the HTC One Series for a while now, and the M8 did not disappoint. The battery life is impressive and I appreciate the ability to customize the interface to my liking.
As for the delivery process, it was seamless. I was a bit hesitant to purchase a phone online, but the website made it easy to track my order and the package arrived at my doorstep in a timely manner.
Overall, I highly recommend the HTC One M8 16GB to anyone in the market for a new phone. It packs a punch with its impressive specs and stylish design.
As for the story behind my purchase, I was in desperate need of a new phone after accidentally dropping my old one in a puddle at work. As a baggage handler at the Buffalo airport, my phone is an essential tool for staying in touch with coworkers and tracking flights. After some research, I settled on the HTC One M8 and haven’t looked back since.
