1 review for Google Pixel 7 Pro 256GB

  1. Jeremy Mcdonald

I recently purchased the Google Pixel 7 Pro 256GB, and unfortunately, I must say that I am not pleased with my purchase. As a cashier, my job requires me to be connected to my phone throughout the day. However, the Android Operating System on this phone is slow and unresponsive, making it difficult for me to multitask and efficiently complete my tasks.

Although the phone boasts an IP 68 IP-Class, which promises durability and resistance against water and dust, I have yet to test this feature out. I have also noticed that the battery life on this phone is subpar compared to other well-known mobile phones on the market.

In comparison to other high-end phones, the Google Pixel 7 Pro falls short. It lacks the smooth user experience and features that other phones offer at a similar price point.

Delivery of this phone to Madison was efficient. It arrived within the expected timeframe and in good condition. However, despite the speedy delivery, I regret my decision to purchase this phone.

Overall, I would rate my experience with the Google Pixel 7 Pro 256GB a 2 out of 5. The phone does not meet my expectations and falls short of other mobile devices on the market.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What are the main features and differences between Google Pixel 7 Pro 256GB and the previous model, Pixel 6 Pro 256GB?

The Google Pixel 7 Pro 256GB and the Pixel 6 Pro 256GB are both high-end smartphones designed by Google. However, there are some significant differences between the two models that potential buyers should be aware of before making a purchase decision. Here are the main features and differences between the two devices:

1. Processor: The Pixel 7 Pro is equipped with a new Tensor G2 chipset, which is Google's second-generation custom processor. This upgrade offers faster performance and improved machine learning capabilities compared to the Tensor G1 found in the Pixel 6 Pro.

2. Design: Both phones have a similar overall design, but the Pixel 7 Pro has a slightly smaller display notch and a more refined camera module. Additionally, the Pixel 7 Pro is available in three new colors – Obsidian, Snow, and Hazel – while the Pixel 6 Pro comes in three previous color options: Stormy Black, Cloud, and Sorta Sunny.

3. Display: The Pixel 7 Pro features a larger 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels (512ppi) compared to the 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display on the Pixel 6 Pro with a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels (512ppi). The main difference between these two displays is that the Pixel 7 Pro supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pixel 6 Pro only supports up to a 90Hz refresh rate.

4. Camera: Both devices have a triple-camera setup on the back, but there are some minor differences between them. The Pixel 7 Pro features an upgraded main camera with a larger 50MP sensor and an f/1.8 aperture lens compared to the 50MP camera with an f/1.9 aperture lens found in the Pixel 6 Pro. Additionally, the Pixel 7 Pro adds support for 4K HDR video recording at 60fps and 8K video recording at 24/30/60fps compared to the Pixel 6 Pro's 4K HDR video recording at up to 30fps and 8K video recording at 24/30fps.

5. Battery: The Pixel 7 Pro has a slightly larger battery capacity of 5,000mAh compared to the Pixel 6 Pro's 5,003mAh battery. Both phones support fast charging through Google's 30W USB-C PD 3.0 charger and wireless charging via Qi-compatible chargers.

6. Software: Both devices run on Android 12 out of the box with access to regular security updates and feature drops from Google. However, the Pixel 7 Pro will be eligible for an additional three years of OS and security updates compared to the Pixel 6 Pro's two-year guarantee.

In summary, while there are several similarities between the Google Pixel 7 Pro 256GB and the Pixel 6 Pro 256GB, the newer model offers some notable upgrades such as a faster processor, larger display with higher refresh rate, improved camera capabilities, and longer support for software updates. These improvements make the Pixel 7 Pro a more attractive option for potential buyers looking for a high-end smartphone from Google.
