One of the major drawbacks of this boiler is its height. At 720.0mm, it’s quite tall and difficult to fit into certain spaces. Additionally, the noise level is quite high, at 46.0dB, causing a constant and annoying whirring sound in my home.
In comparison to other popular gas boilers, I would not recommend the VAILLANT Ecotec Plus 838. In fact, I have since replaced it with a different model with much better results and a quieter performance.
When I first ordered this boiler, I had some difficulties with delivery to Mesa. The company I ordered from had some issues with their shipping process, causing my delivery to be delayed. However, after speaking with customer service and resolving the issue, I did eventually receive the boiler.
