As a doctor living in Alaska, I rely on my television to wind down after a long day at work. The LG OLED77CX definitely delivers in terms of picture quality and overall functionality.
First off, the lack of local dimming is a bit of a drawback. However, the overall contrast and vibrant colors made up for it. The OLED77CX product name may not be as recognizable as other well-known TV brands, but it definitely holds its own.
I did my research and compared it to other high-end TVs, and the LG OLED77CX was definitely in the top tier for picture quality. The user interface is also very user-friendly and easy to navigate.
The only hiccup was the delivery to Alaska. It took longer than expected, but that’s understandable given how far north I am. I ordered the TV in August and received it a few weeks later.
Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase of the LG OLED77CX. The picture quality is stunning and the user interface is very user-friendly. Although it may not have local dimming, it still delivers in terms of overall picture quality and functionality.

I recently purchased the LG OLED77CX TV and overall, I would rate it a 3 out of 5. Although the picture quality is impressive, the lack of local dimming is definitely noticeable. It also took some time for me to adjust to the larger size, as it measures at a whopping 172.2 cm in width.
The delivery process was relatively smooth, considering the size of the TV. However, the purchase itself was a bit of a impulse decision. As a telemarketer, I had been bombarded with advertisements for various TVs and finally caved in. Looking back, I probably should have done more research on other popular TVs before making the decision to buy the LG OLED77CX.
In comparison to other popular TVs on the market, such as the Samsung Q80T and the Sony X950H, the LG OLED77CX falls short in terms of local dimming capabilities. However, the OLED technology does provide a more immersive viewing experience.
All in all, if you are looking for a TV with impressive picture quality and are willing to sacrifice local dimming capabilities, the LG OLED77CX may be the right choice for you. However, if you prioritize local dimming, it may be worth considering other options on the market.
