Romba is a piece of equipment that can handle the apartment on its own, well, almost alone, you should take care not to get caught in anything.
As for the previous versions, there is a lot of progress, compared to the 980 model, it has more suction power and it seems to me that it gets lost less.
It is also possible that the waste container can be emptied less often, but I recommend maintenance each time, or the smells in the container;)
There is a docking station with the function of emptying the garbage, but I do not use it, it generates additional costs and takes up a lot of space.
Now, the most important thing, I think that the diamond is not a choice for everyone, if you are a person who prefers iphone to xiaomi, mac to pc, then the diamond is for you, but when it comes to cheaper, you can buy roborok s50 / viomi v2 and honestly if you can connect to the app you won’t be disappointed;)

Warning: If you are looking for an unbiased, objective review of the iRobot Roomba i7 i7150, you’ve come to the wrong place. I’m not Green Clean, and I don’t share their rosy perspective on this piece of equipment. In fact, I’m seething with frustration and outrage as I recount my experiences with this so-called smart vacuum cleaner.
First, let me set the scene:
Now, let’s talk about the Roomba i7:
1. Not almost alone:
Green Clean says the iRobot Roomba i7 can handle an apartment almost on its own. I call BS! This thing can barely make it around my living room before getting stuck on a power strip or under a chair. And don’t even get me started on the pet hair it seems to have a magnetic attraction to the Roomba, clogging up the brushes and sensors with every pass.
2. Progress? More like regress:
Sure, the i7 has more suction power than its predecessors, but that’s where the improvements end. It seems to get lost more often than my cat in a maze, requiring constant supervision and manual intervention.
3. Empty the waste container? Good luck:
Green Clean suggests emptying the waste container each time or dealing with the smells. I say, good luck trying to get that thing open without making a mess first! I’ve resorted to wearing gloves and disposable bags just to avoid the disgusting task.
4. Diamond shape: A waste of money:
Green Clean suggests that the diamond shape is a choice for those who prefer iPhone to Xiaomi, mac to pc. I say, that shape might as well be a diamond in the rough it doesn’t make a difference when your vacuum cleaner can’t even handle the basics!
5. The docking station: A joke:
Green Clean mentions the docking station as a feature, but I see it as a waste of space and money. In fact, I’ve considered using it as a makeshift shelves for my plants instead.
6. Cheaper alternatives:
Green Clean suggests cheaper alternatives like the Roborok s50 / Viomi v2 if you can connect to the app. I say, why bother when the iRobot Roomba i7 is such a nightmare? I’d rather save my money and buy a decent vacuum cleaner that actually works.
In conclusion:
The iRobot Roomba i7 might be a smart choice for some, but it’s a total disaster in my household. Green Clean might have given it a glowing review, but I can’t help but feel frustrated and outraged every time this vacuum cleaner fails to live up to the hype.
Stay tuned for more rants on consumer products that disappoint!
