1 review for Garmin Fenix 5 Sapphire

  1. Amy Mullen

I bought the Garmin Fenix 5 Sapphire in July after hearing great things about it from some of my fitness buddies. Overall, I have mixed feelings about it and would rate it 3 out of 5 possible.

On one hand, the watch is very durable and the sapphire glass type ensures that the screen is less prone to scratches and damage. I also appreciate the 24.0 hour battery life, which is very helpful for someone like me who works long hours.

However, I find the interface of the watch to be a bit confusing and unintuitive. There are a lot of features that are difficult to navigate and it can take some time to figure out how to use them all. Additionally, the design of the watch is very bulky and can be uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time.

Comparing this watch to another popular smartwatch and activity tracker, the Apple Watch Series 6, I would say that the Garmin Fenix 5 Sapphire falls short in terms of user-friendliness and design. While the Apple Watch Series 6 may not have the same level of durability as the Fenix, it is much easier to use and has a sleeker design.

As for the delivery of the watch to Jersey City and the story behind my purchase, I ordered it online and it arrived within a few days. I had been looking for a new activity tracker for a while and had heard good things about Garmin. Ultimately, I decided to go with the Fenix 5 Sapphire because of its durability and battery life, but I do wish it was a bit easier to use.
