Curtis Mitchell –
The vacuum cleaner made an amazing positive impression while working on my parents and friends. It’s a little strange (yet) that you can watch TV or listen to music or read a book and behind the closed door “cleaning” the room.
This vacuum cleaner works as loud (and such entries are on forums) I suggest a regular vacuum cleaner and work on it. The noise must be because the engine to sucky noise but it really is not so loud.
Melanie English –
I am absolutely fuming as I write this review, specifically in response to Curtis Mitchell’s glowing review of the iRobot Roomba 960. His opinion is a complete and utter joke, and I’m here to tear it apart piece by piece.
First off, let me say that I’ve had the displeasure of owning one of these… monstrosities for a few weeks now, and I can confidently say that Curtis Mitchell must have been paid by iRobot to write his review. The Roomba 960 is a complete and utter disaster, and I’m not just talking about its noise level (more on that in a minute).
Curtis claims that the Roomba works as loud as other reviews on forums claim it does. Well, let me tell you something, Curtis – those reviews are spot on. The thing is a racket, a constant whining and screeching that’s guaranteed to drive anyone within earshot completely insane. And don’t even get me started on the engine noise. It sounds like a jet taking off in your living room.
But hey, at least it works right? Wrong. The Roomba 960 is a finicky piece of junk that seems to have a mind of its own. One day it will clean your floors with ease, and the next day it’ll get stuck on a single blade of grass for hours on end. I swear, I’ve seen more reliable vacuum cleaners at a garage sale.
And don’t even get me started on the navigation system. It’s like they took every worst-case scenario and glued them together into one beautiful mess. The thing will get stuck under furniture, it’ll get wedged in tight spaces, and it’ll leave trails of dirt and dust behind it like it’s trying to make a point.
But I guess what really takes the cake is Curtis’s claim that you can watch TV or listen to music while the Roomba cleans your floors. Yeah, right. Because nothing says relaxing evening like the sound of a vacuum cleaner screeching in the background as you’re trying to enjoy some peace and quiet.
And speaking of relaxing evenings, I’m sure President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is having a real laugh at the news that a suspected Chinese spy fled the Philippines undetected last month. I mean, who needs to worry about national security when you’ve got a vacuum cleaner that can distract you from the fact that your country’s being infiltrated by foreign agents?
In conclusion, Curtis Mitchell’s review of the iRobot Roomba 960 is a complete and utter joke. The thing is a piece of junk that’s only good for one thing – driving people insane with its constant noise and finicky behavior. Don’t waste your money on this monstrosity, folks. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
