1 review for HTC U11 64GB

  1. Snake

Two and a half years with this model and I can’t say anything bad. The sound from the speakers embarrasses the AIFFs and Samsung friends, zero clipping, great system overlay. I only stick to the system keyboard, which is annoying. I keep the phone in the Spigen rubber casing and if it wasn’t for that, the phone would have been in pieces long ago. It is in case someone wonders if it is worth giving PLN 50-60 per case. The pictures are still brilliant, unless we’re talking about the front camera – there is no madness here. The main one, however, takes great photos and videos even at night, effectively eliminating noise. For me, a complete smartphone and I sincerely recommend to everyone even today.

How do I transfer my photos and contacts from my old phone to my new HTC U11 64GB?

To transfer your photos and contacts from your old phone to your new HTC U11 64GB, you can follow these steps:

1. Backup your photos and contacts on your old phone using cloud storage services like Google Photos or iCloud. This ensures that you have a backup of your data in case anything goes wrong during the transfer process. If you're switching from an Android device, you can use HTC Sync Manager to move your content wirelessly via Wi-Fi. Here's how:

a. Download and install HTC Sync Manager on your computer. Connect both your old and new phones to the same Wi-Fi network. Open HTC Sync Manager on your computer and sign in with your Google account. Select "Backup" on your old phone and follow the instructions. Then, select "Restore" on your new phone and restore your data from the backup. If you're switching from an iPhone, you can use iCloud to move your content wirelessly via Wi-Fi or iTunes to transfer your contacts and photos. Here's how:

a. Make sure both your old and new phones are signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID. Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud on your old iPhone, then turn on Contacts, Calendars, and Photos. Wait for your content to appear in the iCloud app on all your devices. On your new HTC U11 64GB, go to Settings > Accounts > Google > Sign in with an existing account. Follow the on-screen instructions to sign into the Google account associated with your Apple ID. Go to Settings > Accounts > Google > Contacts and select "Sync with Google". This will sync your contacts from iCloud to Google. To transfer photos, download Google Photos app on your iPhone and follow the instructions to backup your photos to Google Photos. Then, sign into your Google account on your new HTC U11 64GB and restore your photos via Google Photos. As an alternative method, you can also use a USB cable to transfer your content directly from your old phone to your new HTC U11 64GB. Here's how:

a. Connect your old phone to your computer using a USB cable. Open File Explorer on your computer and navigate to your old phone's internal storage. Copy the files you want to transfer (such as photos or contacts) from your old phone to a folder on your computer. Disconnect your old phone from the computer, then connect your new HTC U11 64GB to the computer using another USB cable. Navigate to your new phone's internal storage via File Explorer and paste the files you copied earlier into the appropriate folders (such as DCIM for photos). Eject your new HTC U11 64GB from your computer before disconnecting the USB cable. Remember, it's always a good idea to backup your data before transferring it to a new phone to ensure that you don't lose anything in case of any issues during the transfer process.

"How do I set up my Bluetooth connection on my new HTC U11 64GB?"

Sure, here's how you can set up Bluetooth connectivity on your new HTC U11 64GB:

1. Make sure that the device you want to pair with (such as headphones or a speaker) is in pairing mode. This may involve pressing and holding a button on the device until a light flashes or a message appears. Consult the documentation for your specific device for more information. On your HTC U11 64GB, go to Settings > Bluetooth & wireless accessories. Toggle the switch at the top of the screen to turn Bluetooth on (if it's not already). Your phone will now search for available devices. When your desired device appears in the list of available devices, tap on its name to initiate pairing. If prompted, enter a PIN or passcode (usually 0000) to confirm the connection. Once paired, your HTC U11 64GB will remember this device for future connections, and you should be able to use it wirelessly as desired!

Remember that Bluetooth connectivity can sometimes be finicky, so if you encounter any issues during setup or usage, try resetting your devices' pairing settings (usually by holding a button down until the light flashes rapidly) or moving closer to the other device.

My phone's battery is draining very quickly, even when I'm not using it much. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

1. Malware or Viruses**: Malicious software can cause your phone to consume more power than usual. If your phone has been infected with malware or viruses, it could be the culprit. Background Apps**: Even when you're not actively using an app, it may still be running in the background and consuming battery life. Check which apps are running in the background and close any unnecessary ones. Location Services**: If your phone's location services are enabled, even when you're not using a location-based app, it can cause your battery to drain quickly. Go to Settings > Location > Mode and set it to "Battery Saving" or "Device only. Screen Brightness**: A bright screen can significantly drain your battery. Adjust the screen brightness by going to Settings > Display > Brightness. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth**: If you have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled, even when not in use, they can consume power. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi settings and turn off Wi-Fi when not needed. Similarly, go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth and turn it off when not needed. Battery Calibration**: Sometimes, the battery may become uncalibrated, causing it to drain quickly. Try calibrating your battery by letting it drain completely (until it turns off) and then charging it to 100%. Faulty Battery or Charger**: It's possible that your battery is faulty or your charger is not functioning properly. Software Issues**: Software glitches can also cause battery drain issues. To fix the issue, try these steps:

1. Restart your phone**: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve battery-related issues. Update your operating system and apps**: Ensure that your OS and all installed apps are up-to-date, as newer versions often include battery-saving features. Disable background data**: Go to Settings > Data usage > Background data and turn it off for unnecessary apps. Check for malware**: Use an antivirus app to scan your phone for malware or viruses. Replace the battery (if necessary)**: If you suspect a faulty battery, consider replacing it with a new one. If none of these steps resolve the issue, it's possible that there's a hardware problem with your phone's battery or charging circuitry. In this case, it may be worth visiting an authorized service center for further diagnosis and repair.
