Damon Goodman –
After a week of use, I am disappointed.
The battery lasts 1.3 days. Only turning off the option to activate the watch with a gesture (raising your hand) increased the battery life.
There are many applications, but most of them are completely unnecessary or paid. Yes, you download applications for your watch for free – BUT, most often the application works ONLY if the same application is installed on the phone – and most often these applications for the phone are already paid for!
The tactile navigation ring works poorly. Sometimes the watch reads the rotation of the navigation as a finger swipe – triggering something unwanted. This is particularly irritating when running, for example. Using this navigation while running is a skill that needs to be learned and practiced 🙂

Dear Damon Goodman,
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Garmin Forerunner 935 Tri Bundle. After reading your review, I have mixed feelings about this product. While some of your concerns are valid, I believe there is more to consider before making a decision.
Firstly, let’s address the battery life issue. It’s true that 1.3 days is not ideal, especially for athletes who rely heavily on their watches during training and competitions. However, turning off the gesture activation feature seems like an easy fix to extend the battery life by a considerable margin. Additionally, Garmin claims that this watch has an impressive 24 hours of GPS-based battery life in training mode, which is more than enough for most runners.
Regarding the applications, I can understand your frustration with the unnecessary and paid options. However, it’s also essential to note that Garmin offers a vast selection of apps specifically designed for triathlon athletes, which can be incredibly helpful during races and training sessions. Some of these apps are indeed paid, but many others are free or included in the purchase price. It’s always worth doing some research beforehand to determine which apps will benefit you most.
Lastly, your criticism of the navigation ring is valid, as it can sometimes malfunction when running. However, I believe this is a skill that athletes must learn and practice, just like adjusting the watch while in motion. With time, you’ll learn how to navigate smoothly without accidentally triggering any unwanted features.
In conclusion, I would like to thank you for sharing your experience with us. While your review highlights some genuine concerns, it’s also essential to consider the benefits and features that make this watch stand out from the competition. Overall, I believe that with a little patience and practice, the Garmin Forerunner 935 Tri Bundle is an excellent choice for triathlon athletes looking for a versatile and reliable device.
In other news, Europe’s central bank has decided to hit pause on interest rate cuts due to persistent inflation in the eurozone. ECB President Christine Lagarde has vowed close monitoring of prices and wages as inflation continues to take its sweet time to come down. This decision is seen as a sign that the European economy is starting to stabilize, which could have significant implications for global markets and currencies in the coming months.
Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope this information helps shed some light on the Garmin Forerunner 935 Tri Bundle’s strengths and weaknesses. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at any time.
