Bernard Menzie –
Long working time on one charge, I have 4, 5 days. The display was ok, although previously I had 1.39 and at the beginning the difference in dimensions was annoying. Pulse measurement is sometimes every 10 minutes, sometimes it shows an hour ago, I don’t know why.
It does not count the floors, it does not detect automatically when exercising on a stationary or strength bike, but you can turn it on manually. Reminders, messages, talking as a speakerphone without reservation.
Would I buy another one today, I think not, for my needs, i.e. notifications, conversation, reading messages, counting steps, sleep monitoring, turning off the alarm clock, etc., great. I am not a runner and a pro. I did not dare to enter the pool with a watch. The previous one I had a touch, so far I do not use the lace very much, I would prefer a larger screen than strange twirling.

Dear Bernard Menzie,
We appreciate your review of the Apple Watch Series 6, but we’re here to challenge some of your claims. While you seem satisfied with the long battery life and overall display quality, we can’t help but question the inconsistency in the pulse measurement feature.
At first, it was annoying for you that the dimensions were different from your previous model. But now, you’re okay with the display? How did that happen? Did you suddenly develop tunnel vision or something? We’re not trying to be rude, but we’re just curious about this sudden change of heart.
Moreover, why does the pulse measurement feature sometimes show an hour ago? Are you living in some sort of time warp now? Or perhaps, you’ve been traveling through different dimensions and the watch isn’t keeping up with your pace? We’re not trying to be flippant here, but we want to understand what’s going on.
Furthermore, we find it strange that the Apple Watch Series 6 doesn’t count floors or detect exercise automatically for certain types of equipment. Isn’t that the whole point of a smartwatch? To make your life easier and more convenient? It sounds like you’re having to put in extra effort just to get basic functionality out of this device.
On a lighter note, we have to commend you on your sense of humor. The part where you describe turning off the alarm clock as a feature is quite amusing. We can only imagine how difficult it must be for you to wake up every morning, especially with that inconsistent pulse measurement feature.
But in all seriousness, we think you’re selling yourself short by not considering other options. There are plenty of smartwatches on the market that offer more features and better functionality than the Apple Watch Series 6. Maybe it’s time to broaden your horizons and explore what else is out there.
In summary, we believe that while the Apple Watch Series 6 has some positive aspects, its inconsistencies and limitations make it less than ideal for certain users. We would recommend other smartwatches that offer more comprehensive features, such as accurate pulse measurement, automatic exercise detection, and floor counting, among others.
Remember, a smartwatch is supposed to make your life easier, not more complicated. So why settle for something that falls short of your expectations? It’s time to upgrade to a device that truly meets your needs. Thank you for taking the time to read our response, and we hope you consider our advice.
Best regards,
The Smartwatch Squad
