Description
Garmin has always been a leading name in the fitness wearable industry, and their latest release, the Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire smartwatch, takes things to a whole new level.
The Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire is the ultimate multi-sport watch, designed for athletes, adventurers, and outdoor enthusiasts alike. It packs a range of advanced features that include GPS, heart rate tracking, built-in maps, and more.
The first thing you will notice about the Fenix 6 Sapphire is its rugged design. It comes with a 47mm case that is built to withstand extreme conditions, and the Sapphire crystal display ensures that the screen is scratch-resistant.
The watch has a 1.3-inch, sunlight-readable display that is easy to read even in bright sunlight. Unlike other smartwatches that have limited battery life, the Fenix 6 Sapphire boasts an impressive battery life of up to 14 days when in smartwatch mode.
For fitness enthusiasts, the watch comes with a range of features that include advanced workout statistics, VO2 max estimates, and pulse oximetry measurements. The watch also tracks GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo satellite systems, making it easier for athletes to navigate their routes.
Another impressive feature of the Fenix 6 Sapphire is its built-in mapping system. The watch comes pre-installed with topographical maps that enable users to find their way through unfamiliar terrain with ease. The watch can also mark points of interest, create routes, and provide turn-by-turn navigation instructions.
For adventurers, the watch boasts a host of features that include altimeter, barometer, and compass sensors. These sensors help hikers and climbers navigate their way through the toughest terrains.
Apart from fitness and outdoor features, the Fenix 6 Sapphire also offers smart notifications, music controls, and contactless payment options. Users can also add third-party apps such as Uber, Strava, and Tripadvisor.
To sum it up, the Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire is an exceptional smartwatch that offers a range of features for fitness enthusiasts, adventurers, and everyday users. It is the ultimate multi-sport watch that is built to withstand extreme conditions and offers advanced features that are unmatched by any other smartwatch on the market today.

The watch does not kill with the number of functions, browsing the internet on the watch is a misunderstanding, as well as a few other things (e.g. youtube). The things that are used are: a watch (there are some dials, but most of them don’t knock), a heart rate monitor, a pedometer, sleep monitoring, music player and Endomondo (once installed), the rest are rather fillers.
The useful functions include the ability to read text messages and notifications (if you do not want to reach for the phone) and phone calls (e.g. when driving a car without a headset or hands-free mode), besides, there is no madness. The battery with all the gadgets turned on (GPS, continuous pulse reading) lasts a little more than a day. It’s quite nice, 63 g is probably not that much, but the watch feels a bit heavy at times, you have to get used to it.
